ToGeThere is my final collaborative project for Integrated Product Development. Integrated Product Development (IPD) is an experiential, cross-disciplinary course that puts teams of students from Art & Design, Business, Engineering and Information in a competitive product development environment.

Design Challenge: Reduce Isolation, Enhance Social Engagement in Pandemic

Design a product-driven solution which addresses the problem of social isolation in pandemic conditions, by enabling increases in meaningful social engagement with other people. The solution might include service, technology, application and built environment features. It should be suitable for use by adults living in household circumstances.

An app to create meaningful interaction between people who feel disconnected. Create digital art that you can share with your loved ones by staying active and doing activities together while separated by distance!

In this collaborative project, my main contributions were the product logo and trade show website design.

CREATE ARTBOARDS WITH YOUR LOVED ONES.

Start a run, walk, bike ride, or yoga session. Connect your favorite health-tracking platforms, such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Google Fit, Nike+ to track your exercise data.

Invite a friend or family member to join you.

HOW TOGETHERE WORKS

ToGeThere collects your heart rate, step count, activity type, and activity duration from your favorite wearable fitness devices (i.e. Fitbit or Apple Watch) to create meaningful art!

Activity type: The type of activity selected will influence the shape in the middle as well as the shading of your art.

Heart rate: We use the collected heart rate data to create the outer layer of the created art.

Step count: The more steps you take during your activity the larger the middle circle will be.

Activity duration: The duration of your recorded activity determines the size of the art we create

Your activity data is then blended into the patterns and images together to create beautiful and unique digital art created by you and your loved ones!
